[AUDITORY] Abstract submission and registration open for 2nd International Symposium on Music and Cochlear Implant Research



Dear fellow researchers,

 

Abstract submission and registration are now open for the 2nd International Symposium on Music and Cochlear Implant Research, hosted by McGill University in Montreal, Canada, August 20-21, 2018.

 

Over the two days, there will be oral presentations, poster sessions and discussion panels involving a wide range of world-leading practitioners and researchers, including confirmed keynotes by Pr. Andrew Oxenham, Pr. Karen Gordon, Pr. Kate Gfeller and Pr. Robert Zatorre.

 

This year’s sessions will focus on:

·       Solving the pitch problem,

·       Growing up with music through a Cochlear Implant,

·       Improving music experience for current users,

·       Music & enjoyment.

 

Deadline for submission of abstracts for oral and poster presentations is May 20th 2018.

 

Available seats are limited. The symposium will be free for attendants, with priority given to presenting authors due to space restrictions.
