Here are the references I received for head-worn microphones (in replacement of our fragile AKG C520Ls):
- DPA 4088 (Cardioid) or 4066 (Omni) - Lorenzo Picinali
- Sennheiser HS2. Not cheap but robust and high sound quality. In Germany this is a broadcasting standard - Lutz Wiegrebe
- Countryman microphones (http://www.countryman.com/h6-headset-microphone/). I don’t know about the headset but the microphones themselves have a quite flat response, are very well build and resistant over time. We use them to build microphone arrays for sound field measurements - Leny Vinceslas
