I have a call regarding an announcement of a Ph.D. fellowship position available at the University of Southern Denmark. The Ph.D. fellowship is
in the field of audiology and public health. The purpose is to
analyze differences in Quality of Life (QoL) improvements related to the different fitting strategies of the hearing aids. Furthermore, aspects of cost-effectiveness analysis in terms of Quality
Adjusted Life Years (QALY) will be included in order to evaluate the potential of the new fitting strategy compared to the existing traditional fitting strategy based on the audiogram. A description and how to apply can be found here: The study is a part of the Better Hearing Rehabilitation Project (BEAR).
