For an upcoming article, I'm seeking any and all references, original documents, photos, and personal stories about the development and history of binaural recording systems and test apparati.
Of particular interest:
- Oscar, the Bell Labs mannequin that was presented at the Chicago World Fair
-Development of KEMAR and head and torso simulators
-Binaural recording systems for live performances
-A book published by Knowles, sometimes called "the green book", which contains the proceedings of two conferences about KEMAR.
