This is an announcement regarding Detection and Classification of Acoustic Scenes and Events 2016 challenge. We are pleased to announce that all tasks have been published.
Just a reminder, we have 4 tasks:
Task1: Acoustic Scene Classification
Task2: Sound event detection in synthetic audio
Task 3: Sound event detection in real-life audio
Task4: Domestic audio tagging
On the challenge website you can now find the audio datasets and
baseline system implementations in Python and/or Matlab for all tasks. http://www.cs.tut.fi/sgn/arg/dcase2016/
If you are interested to participate, please send an email to dcasechallenge@xxxxxxxxx, stating your interest and your preferred task(s). The deadline for confirming participation in 31st of March 2016.
