On Behalf Of THALER L. A BBSRC-funded postdoctoral position to study human echolocation in blind and sighted people will be available at Durham University. The primary techniques
that will be used are behavioural experiments (incl. psychophysics), in conjunction with functional and structural MRI. Candidates should have experience running auditory and/or visual behavioural experiments, MRI experiments, and experience in Matlab programming.
It is essential to have (or be able to obtain) a UK driving license. The laboratory is housed in the Department of Psychology at Durham University. The Department offers an exciting and friendly multidisciplinary research
environment. The lab has access to excellent technical facilities including a 0T and 3T MRI scanner, acoustically controlled testing chamber, as well as laboratories for brain stimulation (TMS, tdCS), motion analysis systems, behavioural experiments and eye-tracking.
