Faculty Position: Eaton-Peabody Laboratories



Faculty Position: Auditory System / Hearing Disorders

The Eaton-Peabody Laboratories (EPL) at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary (MEEI) and the Department of Otology and Laryngology at the Harvard Medical School seek applications from researchers interested in hearing and deafness. MEEI and EPL provide an interdisciplinary and collaborative intellectual environment within an active clinical setting. The research base includes 23 NIH-funded investigators studying hearing and deafness, 4 studying balance disorders and 15 studying vision and blindness. MEEI researchers hold faculty appointments at Harvard Medical School and participate in teaching programs for graduate students, medical students and residents, at both Harvard and MIT, including the Program in Speech and Hearing Bioscience and Technology. Funds for a generous start-up package have been raised.

 

Candidates should have an outstanding record of research accomplishment and a strong desire for research collaboration, especially in areas of translation to clinical application.
