Hi,
[apologies for any cross posting]
I wanted to bring to your attention a research winter school "Winter School on Speech and Audio Processing (WiSSAP)," 2015 being held in India.
Started in 2006, WiSSAP has been a popular forum to bring together
researchers in speech, language and audio processing community together.
This
years topic is `Production-perception based new models for speech
analysis'. Prof. Shihab Shamma (UMD & ENS), Prof. Hynek Hermansky
(JHU), and Prof. Srikanth
Narayanan (USC) are giving expert lectures. They will be delivering 3
days lecture sessions on recent findings pertaining to the theme. The
school will also involve tutorials and on-going work presentations by
research schools, such as IISc, IITs, etc, in India.
