[Apologies for cross-postings] The PhD Programme in Information Engineering at the University of Padova is opening new PhD positions. The Programme includes Sound and Music Computing among its research lines, with a focus on sound synthesis, 3D sound rendering, multimodal interaction. A number of positions are funded from the University of Padova (the call for applications is expected to be published in July 2014). An additional limited amount of fellowships are reserved to foreign students through a dedicated call, which has just been published (deadline June 9): http://www.unipd.it/en/node/142 Courses will start on Nov. 1, 2014. Before this date eligible candidates must obtain the degree which entitles them to start a doctorate.
