Dear Group,
As a compromise between (a) those who need to request papers and those that don't mind helping them, and (b) those who don't ever want to look at such requests, I would suggest the following:
People requesting papers should always put the words "Paper request" as the first two words on the Subject line of their message. This will make it easy for the "(b)" people to either set up an email filter to delete such requests without reading them, or quickly delete them manually.
