Postdoctoral Position: Binaural Spectral Integration with Cochlear Implants and Hearing Aids
A postdoctoral position is available to investigate binaural spectral integration, or how sounds are integrated spectrally between the ears, in children and adults with hearing aids, cochlear implants, or any combination of these devices (e.g. electro-acoustic stimulation or bimodal stimulation). This position is supported by an NIDCD/NIH R01 grant.
The Reiss laboratory is based in the Oregon Hearing Research Center (OHRC), the Department of Otolaryngology, Oregon Health and Science University. Qualified applicants will have a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, Neuroscience, Psychology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or related fields. Individuals who have experience with psychophysical experiments, computational modeling, and C++ and MATLAB programming are especially encouraged to apply.
