Comparison of HDA-200 and HDA-300

Dear List,

As stated earlier, the audiometry headphone Sennheiser HDA 200 has been replaced
by its successor HDA 300. Sennheiser will definitely not resume the production
of the HDA 200 in spite of some shortcomings of the new model (esp. regarding
passive attenuation).

For anyone interested, Michael Hofman and colleagues from the KU Leuven have
gathered and displayed technical data on attenuation and frequency response
(including own measurements) in a post on their lab blog at
