[AUDITORY] Foreign connected speech databases wanted



Hi Bruno, 

Maybe there is something useful in here:

The Finnish equivalent of the BBC is called YLE. You can probably find what you want just from a search on the internet. 
 
There is also an YLE archive:
http://www.yle.fi/elavaarkisto/haku/
For instance for radio news: http://yle.fi/elavaarkisto/haku/#fraasi/radio%20uutiset
You can save to MP3 by clicking on 'lataa' at the top right of the main image sometimes.
 
You can also do text-to-speech for Finnish using Praat. Native listeners of Finnish can find it relatively convincing.
 
If you just want a few .wavs of sentences of home-recorded speech of anything in particular from some Finns, I can get this, no problem.
