Dear all, I would like to announce the availability of two PhD studentships in Computer Science and Engineering at Aalborg University in Denmark. The studentships will be in the field of machine modelling of musical learning and creativity. The projects will focus on complementary aspects of developing data-driven, "bottom-up" autonomous learning systems that can learn to create novel, high-quality music that either simulate or successfully extend musical styles defined by corpora. The successful candidates should be available to start from 1 October 2013 or as soon as possible thereafter. Deadline for application is 23 September 2013.
