[AUDITORY] Faculty opening: Cognitive Psychology - Assistant Professor, University at Buffalo SUNY

Cognitive Psychology - Assistant Professor
The Department of Psychology, University at Buffalo SUNY, invites
applications for a Cognitive Psychology faculty position at the
Assistant Professor (tenure-track) rank.
We are seeking a candidate whose research and training incorporates
advanced quantitative methods. This can include mathematical modeling
(including neural network models), and/or use of advanced statistical
techniques (including mixed effects linear modeling, multilevel
modeling, and Bayesian statistics). Area of research is open. We are
particularly interested in candidates whose research would make logical
connections with our existing strengths, including perception, language,
metacognition, comparative cognition, categorization, learning, and
music cognition. Applicants are expected to have a strong potential for
external grant funding, a strong publication record, and teaching
experience commensurate with rank. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in
Cognitive Psychology.
