Re: The climb of absolute pitch ][



It is reported that Benjamin Britten heard the Overture to Die Meistersinger in C# major as he aged.

I believe that it was on this list, perhaps a decade ago that it was suggested that neurons started to connect more slowly as people aged and that if A/P is determined by a 'timing circuit', then the slowing of the timing would result in a rise in pitch.
