the Institute of Communications Engineering at the University of Rostock (Germany), is announcing a full-time research position in the field of spatial audio. The position is available from October 1st 2012 for initially 3 years, with prospect for continuation.
Candidates
should have a MSc, Diploma or similar degree in a relevant discipline (acoustics,
psychoacoustics, signal processing, electrical engineering). The position will be concerned with the development,
implementation and evaluation of three-dimensional sound field capture and
synthesis techniques. Profound skills in signal processing and acoustics are
required. Experience in psychoacoustics, subjective experiments and short-time
Fourier analysis are desired.
