The Hearing and Balance Centre at the Institute of Sound and Vibration
Research at the University of Southampton, UK seeks enthusiastic
audiologists or clinical scientists to contribute to its teaching
programmes in audiology and contribute to the development of our
research profile in hearing and balance science.  As an applicant, you
should have a clinical qualification in audiology and would ideally
have some experience in clinical or other forms of teaching.  Ability
to contribute to independent research in this area is desirable.  You
should have excellent organisational ability and would be expected to
contribute the management and organisation of clinical teaching in
particular within the Academic Unit.  Ability to motivate students and
an interest in the development of innovative teaching techniques is
essential. You will need to be willing to travel to NHS departments in
the South or Southeastern region on a regular basis. You will be
provided with support facilities and training to ensure successful
delivery of objectives.

Appointments will be made on a two-year fixed term teaching fellow
appointment, at level 4 (£27,578 to £33,884) or level 5 (£34,895 to
£44,166), dependent on experience  Consideration will be given to
