Dear all,

We are very pleased to announce the exciting technical and music  
programmes of the CMMR 2012 conference which will be held at Queen  
Mary University of London and Wilton's Music Hall on 19-22 June 2012.

Thanks to all the submissions, we extended the early registration  
deadline to *Wednesday 30th May 2012*.

CMMR 2012 will feature multidisciplinary works in areas including  
music emotion analysis and recognition, music information retrieval,  
music perception and cognition, synthesis, 3D audio, computational  
musicology, performance, and film soundtrack composition. CMMR 2012's  
Music Festival "New Resonances: Music, Machines and Emotions" will be  
a series of three concerts and media installations held at Wilton's  
Music Hall (19th, 20th, and 22nd June 2012). The CMMR 2012 concerts,  
also opened to a public audience, will present some of the first  
performances of new pieces and installations made possible by  
scientific advances.

The conference Gala Dinner which will take place at the Under The  
Bridge music venue (Chelsea Football Club) on Thursday 21st June 2012  
will be followed by a Concert from French rock band BBT and a Jam  
Session opened to the conference's delegates (bring your own  
instrument, should it be practicable regarding your journey!; a basic  
set of instruments, keyboard, guitar, bass guitar, drum kit, and  
microphones for vocals will be made available).
