Director of Audiology / Faculty Position, University of Wisconsin - Madison
The Department of Surgery, Division of Otolaryngology is recruiting a
Director of Audiology
to augment the clinical audiology/vestibular practice and expand the
clinical or translational
research program existing within the Division. The Department is seeking
a clinician-scholar who
will contribute to the Department by establishing an independently
funded clinical, basic and/or
translational research program. The ideal candidate will work closely
with the Department Chair,
Division Chief and the existing audiology clinical directors to enhance
the spectrum and level of
clinical services, as well as to integrate research with clinical care
and foster development of new
clinical and translational research in collaboration with otolaryngology
faculty and other auditory
science investigators at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Mentoring
and teaching medical
students, graduate students and otolaryngology residents is expected.
Prior administrative and
leadership experience is preferred. Clinical experience across the life
span is desired.
Rank and faculty track will depend on candidate’s expertise and academic
background. Candidates
must have a PhD, clinical experience in auditory and/or vestibular
disorders and be eligible for
licensure in Wisconsin.
