Re: Listening experiments online

Hello Rahul and others who might be interested,
I'm sorry it took me so long to reply, I was kind of busy finishing my PhD.
I actually did one of those online experiments (which I announced on the auditory list). I got an example of the html code here http://recherche.ircam.fr/anasyn/caetano/survey/survey0311.html
This page uses a php code named post2mail2.php (written by Gilles Degottex) that you can find here http://recherche.ircam.fr/anasyn/caetano/scripts/
The page uses the free flash-based dewplayer. You can download it here http://www.alsacreations.fr/dewplayer-en.html
Hope that helps. Don't hesitate to contact me if you still have any questions.
Best,
Marcelo

Assunto: Re: [AUDITORY] Listening experiments online

I have frequently seen (and sometimes participated in) experiments where the audio files are played online and responses are recorded using simple java/asp/html/other scripts (which can be run within a browser). Would someone on this list be willing to share their code/scripts for such an experiment? Iâm guessing these are relatively simple to do, but why re-invent the wheel?

Thanks,
Rahul
