Senior DSP Firmware Engineer Position Available

Starkey Laboratories, Inc., an equal opportunity employer and a recognized

has an exciting opportunity for a full-time senior DSP firmware engineer at
its international headquarters located in Minnesota, USA. This position is
responsible for research and development of DSP firmware for hearing aids. 

Qualifications
A Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering, computer science or related field
or a Master's degree with 3+ years of applicable experience is required.
Candidates with a bachelor degree in electrical engineering, computer
science or related field and 8+ years of applicable experience may be
considered. 

Skills 
.	Proficiency in Matlab is required
.	Proficiency in C, C++ or C# is required
.	Proficiency in assembly language is required 
.	Proficiency in real-time embedded firmware design is required
.	Familiarity with embedded DSP firmware development process is
required
.	Good verbal and written communication skills are required
.	Good interpersonal skills are required
.	Proficiency in fixed-point algorithm design is highly desirable
.	Familiarity with advanced DSP algorithms, such as microphone array
processing, noise suppression or feedback cancellation is highly desirable
