Language Development and Quality Of Life In Children With Unilateral And Bilateral Cochlear Implants

This is an exciting opportunity to study the development of language and quality of life in young deaf children. We are seeking a scientist with experience in studying language development in young children and with interests in hearing and deafness. The post also offers the opportunity to learn techniques in health-services research within the context of a randomised controlled trial.

The Department is one of Britain's top departments of psychology (banded 5* in the last two RAEs, currently receiving 6* funding).

Salary will be in the range of £26,666 - £30,012 per annum. This post is available for a period of up to three years. It is subject to a Criminal Records Bureau Enhanced Disclosure.
