One for your diaries:
The conference '"Formulate with the greatest care": Adorno and Performance' will be hosted at the RNCM, Manchester (UK) Saturday-Sunday 13th-14th September 2008. This event will be based around the recent translation of _Towards a Theory of Musical Reproduction_ (Polity 2006).
Confirmed speakers are the translator Wieland Hoban, Robert Hullot-Kentor, Lydia Goehr, Max Paddison, Andrew Bowie, and John Deathridge.
A formal call for papers will be issued by the conference committee in due course.
