Junior Lecturer in the field of Music Technology (5 year contract)
Applicants should have a strong background in electronic music composition and performance and be well versed in current practices in sonic arts, post-digital and electroacoustic music, live performance and new media. The successful candidate will be involved in teaching theory and applications in the area of technologies for real-time music creation, for composition and sound design software. In addition, the successful applicant should be committed to the research and exploration of developments in the field of digital music technologies.
All applicants for these positions should have previous teaching experience at either undergraduate or postgraduate level and must have a postgraduate qualification to at least Masters Level and either hold or be working towards a PhD. In addition to teaching duties the successful candidates will be responsible for the supervision of taught postgraduate students.
