Tenure-Track Position in Human Cognitive Neuroscience

The Department of Psychology and the J. P. Scott Center for
Neuroscience, Mind, & Behavior at Bowling Green State University invite
applications for a tenure track position in HUMAN COGNITIVE
NEUROSCIENCE at the assistant professor level. We are particularly
interested in candidates employing electrophysiological techniques to
study language and/or music cognition, although all outstanding
candidates with research interests in perception, attention and memory
will receive serious consideration. The successful candidate will be
expected to contribute to the Center's focus on the neural basis of
communication by establishing an EEG/ERP lab, maintaining an active,
externally funded program of research, providing quality graduate and
undergraduate instruction, and supervising graduate student research.
Qualifications for the position include a doctorate in psychology or
related field. The position begins August, 2007. Salary and start-up
are competitive and commensurate with peer institution levels for rank
and position and in keeping with candidate experience and credentials.
