Whither correlograms?
Back in the 80s and 90s, at lot of us investigated auditory
correlograms as a representation for sound separation and
classification. Since I've been away from the field for a decade,
with the exception of monitoring this list a bit, I'd like to know if
anyone is still actively persuing this approach. And if not, what
are the current hot alternative representations that try to connect
what's known of the auditory system to the functions of sound
separation and classification?
