Re: FM?

Hi,

"FM" stands for "Frequency Modulation" , a sound synthesis technique
initiated by John Chowning in the early 70's which has been very popular
in the 80's (in commercial synthesizers) and the 90's (in computer sound
cards).

Bests,

Olivier

And, it said, "Abstract models, such as FM, attempt to provide musically useful parameters in an abstract formula." Here, "FM" refers to what? Does anyone know?
