Dental drills and hearing
Dear Auditory List:
I am a physicist who has suffered a hearing loss three times in a
row after visits to my dentist. I have measured this myself in detail. I
suspect the cause may be ultrasonic vibrations created by the turbo drill,
or the anesthetic that was used. I have found references to hearing loss
of dentists, but not of patients. Does anyone know of such references?
