Hello,

I have 2 questions concerning amplitude normalisation. For a research
project I will present 120 short classical pieces. I normalised all the
pieces in Cool Edit Pro 2.0 chosing Effects > Amplitude > Normalise, I
normalised to -9 decibels, L/R Equally

1. what algorythm is used to normalise

2. what is after this normalising the peak amplitude of the piece at a
classical decibel scale

I join a normalised (MP2c.wav) and a raw version (fadlin2c) of a piece
