Betreff: CALL FOR PAPERS:

dear colleagues,

below you will find the Call for Papers
for the International Conference of Medical Physics held in Nuremberg,
September 14th - 17 th, 2005.
This conference is jointly held with the Annual Meeting of the German
Society for Biomedical Engineering.

The conference shall be a great event for Medical Physics as the
International Organization for Medical Physics (IOMP), the European
Federation of Organisations in Medical Physics (EFOMP) and the German
Society of Medical Physics (DGMP) will join forces and hold their meetings
together.

The conference will deal with all topics in medical physics, but it will
also go beyond this and take a very broad interdisciplinary approach. Since
the German Association of Biomedical Engineering (DGBMT) will also join with
their annual meeting the spectrum of the program will be broadened and bring
in the necessary expertise of both physicists and engineers.

The range of topics will be further expanded by a series of events
integrated into the conference, ranging from clinically oriented workshops
to plenary and special focus sessions which are hosted by partner
organisations such as the International Commission on Radiation Units and
Measurements (ICRU), the International Commission on Radiological Protection
(ICRP), the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) and the
European Federation of Organisations for Medical Physics (EFOMP).

For the reader of this list the Track 'Medical Acoustics' will be of
particular interest
focusing on the following topics:

-Audiology
-Objective Diagnostics
-Hearing Aids and Cochlear Implants

Deadline for abstract submission will be March 15th, 2005!
