I agree with the suggestions everyone has made. Personally, I like
Rostropovich the most. To add another personal favorite to the list, Janos
Starker's Mercury album is also really good. In addition, allow me to refer
a good website for anyone wishing to obtain professional reviews on
classical music recordings:
