Lombard sign

Dear Tony:

The Lombard reflex, also known as the Lombard sign, is named for
Etienne Lombard, who published the first report of the relation
between vocal production, ambient noise and auditory reafference.
The original reference is:

Lombard, E. (1911). Le signe de l'elevation de la voix.

Parlez-vous Francais?
