                 VISITING LECTURER IN

                      PSYCHOLOGY




Applications for Visiting Lectureships in Psychology are now invited for
1994 and enquiries invited concerning 1995.  The department wishes to
appoint up to three visiting scholars for 3-4 months each.  Applicants
should have considerable teaching and research experience and they will
normally be expected to undertake research, and contribute to both
undergraduate and graduate teaching, and postgraduate supervision.
Research interests of the Psychology department include, social, clinical,
community, cross-cultural, justice, feminism, experimental and applied
behaviour analysis, industrial/organizational, personality,
neuropsychology, health promotion, perception and learning.
Microcomputers and a good network are available to staff.

Applicants should have a Doctorate in Psychology or equivalent.
Starting dates are negotiable.  Remuneration will be by a fee and
appropriate expenses grant.  The total sum available for appointments is
NZ$37,440 and this will be allocated on a pro rata basis to the successful
applicants.
