Request for information
Dear Colleagues,
I am still involved in research on the effects of sudden onsets
in segregating signals from a mixture. One referee of a submitted
article has suggested that I try to explain my effects in terms
of auditory physiology. I can only do so if I find some research
that relates the MAGNITUDE of neural "onset" responses to the
RATE of onset, responding more vigorously to more rapid onsets.
So far I have been unsuccessful in finding such a study.
Does anybody know of a direct physiological measurement of
such an effect?
Thanks,
Al Bregman
